MOI aims to humanize Web3 by prioritizing human needs over applications through "contextual computation." It introduces a participant-centric approach, focusing on human-like interactions and a dynamic, general-purpose layer 1 network. MOI is powered by ISM (Interaction State Machine) technology, which replicates state machines for a digitally interconnected society, linking object states with participant preferences. This allows for practical messaging and value management across the network, similar to TCP/IP, facilitating equitable and sustainable digital interactions.

In our collaboration with MOI for the development of a tokenomics design, BrightNode embarked on a comprehensive and multifaceted project. The engagement began with an in-depth examination of MOI's existing documentation and notes, particularly focusing on tokenomics development. BrightNode used SUI’s tokenomics as a benchmark in their analysis, ensuring a robust and industry-aligned approach.
Central to our service was the development of a Token Utility Canvas. This process involved constructing a comprehensive token utility management system. BrightNode identified the protocol value creation mechanisms, and designed a token system to capture and accrue value from them, pinpointing the roles of various agents and recognizing the feedback loops based on potential interactions between these agents.
Another significant aspect of BrightNode's work was mapping out the Token Value Flows, involving a thorough analysis of how tokens are allocated, distributed, and released over time. The objective was to create a vesting plan that would minimize potential impacts on the token's price. This effort also looked into the incentives for Guardian and procedures for initially attracting validators, including the use of a targeted airdrop strategy.
The Reward Curve for Epoch Rewards was another critical component of our service.
It was crucial to grasp the long-term economic principles governing MOI to develop an effective incentives schedule. By examining the system's sources of token inflow (faucets) and outflow (sinks), we were able to identify the optimal emission and burning mechanisms to effectively achieve a balanced system.
Security was also a paramount concern. BrightNode conducted a thorough security analysis specifically for MOI's reputation-based model. This analysis was instrumental in providing recommendations for staking amounts, grounding them in solid security considerations.
The deliverables from BrightNode were comprehensive and well-rounded. The Tokenomics Paper we provided was a detailed document that covered all aspects of MOI's tokenomics, including token design, modeling, price sensitivity, engineering simulation, and governance. Additionally, BrightNode developed Mathematical Models to back our recommendations and findings.
