Metable asked BrightNode for help to develop their platform on web3 using blockchain technology. Our first aim was to come up with solutions on how to amalgamate different technologies within the metaverse concept. Then we set about designing a dual token economy. This was based on an economical model with incentives and spending mechanisms that allowed for a sustainable ecosystem. Together we created the first learn-to-earn metaverse.

The final stage of the project was about finding Metable the right support. We gave them access to our extensive network and identified development, commercial and strategic partners that would help them grow.

The client | Metable 

Metable’s founders came from Io Investo, a successful financial education company.

With Metable, their aim is to create the first “learn to earn” metaverse, an innovative solution to traditional e-learning platforms. A place for teachers, students, businesses and investors to learn and make money at the same time.

While they had extensive knowledge and experience in the best ways to teach learners, the challenge was to transfer that knowledge to a metaverse that is blockchain-based and uses tokens.

Achievements gained so far:

  • More than 6000 Discord members
  • 2300 group members on Telegram
  • 23k followers on Twitter
  • 32k followers on Instagram

The task 

The Metable founders aim to build their learning platform on blockchain. With their tokenomics they intend to create a system that would allow stakeholders – teachers, students and investors – to buy, sell or rent land and buildings in Metable, swiftly and easily.

Their objectives for Metable are:

  • Allow teachers to build their own school and attract thousands of students from all around the world.
  • Offer students large opportunities to learn from the very best in their industry, while earning during their studies.
  • Provide investors the possibility to buy land and buildings and to rent the assets.

BrightNode’s contribution 

To bring everyone up to speed on the possibilities of blockchain technology, BrightNode provided an initial strategic consulting module to convey specific concepts and ideas of using  Web3 & blockchain technology and its applications into the Metable project.

Then, during the tokenomics design module, BrightNode walked the Client through the objectives of setting up a sustainable dual token economy. To that purpose utility tokens, governance tokens and NFTs have been considered. Read more on BrightNode’s Tokenomics design service.

The result 

Metable is an educational metaverse pointing at solving some of the most important issues of traditional e-learning platforms for teachers, students, companies and investors.

Teachers, content creators, schools and universities can:

  • Build their own school and start teaching quickly and easily.
  • Save up to 90% of the commissions retained by classic e-learning platforms.
  • Purchase and own the land and buildings in which they teach.
  • Create their school within a single and limited area.
  • Sell and / or rent buildings and land, thus generate extra profits.
  • Increase and improve the possibilities of interaction and collaboration with students.
  • Have access to new technologies and new e-learning experiences (VR – virtual reality).

Students can:

  • Earn money while studying.
  • Have their own curriculum on blockchain to certify the courses they have completed and the results they have obtained.
  • Finding work by participating in Job Day and meeting directly with the human resources managers of the companies.
  • Sponsor your resumes in the marketplace to be found by companies.
  • Study within immersive rooms, harness the power of VR technology and improve learning outcomes.

Investors can:

  • Buy land, buildings and other NFTs to sell or rent them quickly and easily.

Companies can:

  • Find international staff by accessing a rich marketplace well organized by skills and geographical areas.
  • Organize Job Days and meet virtually all potential candidates.
  • Create job offers and sponsor them in the marketplace to have direct access to the best candidates.
