The client | Undeads
Undeads is a P2E survival game on the Ethereum blockchain. With two primary factions — zombies and humans — fighting for glory, this MMORPG comes with a large selection of income-producing mechanics. These mechanics are, of course, designed to enable crypto to be earned while playing and interacting with other players. This is an integral part of the game’s Tokenomics model. Players have to explore new territories, defend their settlement, grind resources and craft and improve equipment. Additionally, players can trade, learn a profession and develop their NFT character.
The vision of the Undeads team is to establish new standards of enjoyment for P2E games. At the same time, the game creatively offers multiple ways for players to earn.
The Task
The Undeads team had the following requirements:
- Complete third-party review of existing Tokenomics model
- Pre-launch analysis of game economy and Tokenomics health
- Staking rewards simulation

- Phase 1
During the first phase of the project, BrightNode experts provided strategic on-demand support, as well as reviewing Undeads’ existing Tokenomics model. The idea was to ensure the team had a concrete token value proposition, with use cases and utility clearly outlined. As a result, we could then fine-tune other aspects of the Tokenomics model, for example token demand and supply. We also modified aspects such as release schedules, rewards, incentives, burning schedules and more.

- Phase 2
Next, BrightNode worked with its business partner, Machinations.io to take the Undeads game design process to the next level. As an internationally acclaimed validation tool, Machinations gave deeper insights into the health of the game economy and Tokenomics model. Consequently, Undeads could predict their economic health before the launch of the game. This process involved in-game fee models, simulations, sustainability tests and design diagrams using Machinations.
