Introduction

The world of gaming has had an impressive development in the last decade with staggering growth in the number of users and turnover of companies.

Illuvium is an open-world adventure role-playing game (RPG) built on the Ethereum Blockchain. 

The player takes the role of a survivor of a transport ship in an intergalactic space fleet. Investigating a strange distress signal, the user finally reaches the origin of the call and discovers a ruined planet, perhaps the mythical cradle of his own civilization. More than 100 Illuvials populate this alien world. Each one has different affinities, classes and abilities. The player tries to capture them and imprison them in crystal structures called Shards, extracted from the planet’s surface. 

To uncover the mysteries of the planet, the player then becomes a hunter, traveling through this world subduing and capturing the Illuvials, and trying to unlock the Obelisks that keep most of reality locked down.

You will also travel through a vast and varied landscape to discover the cause of the cataclysm that rocked this land.

The player can compare stats with other users and show off their shiny, cosmic and holographic collectibles.

The game uses a new generation of NFTs through integration with Immutable X. A zero-commission platform for peer-to-peer trading with instant transactions, all while safely maintaining custody of users’ assets.

Illuvium Tokenomics

Illuvium’s metaverse is powered by two tokens, ILV and sILV. ILV is an ERC20 token on the Ethereum blockchain, it is not needed for the gameplay. The sILV token is a Synthetic token pegged to the ILV price, it can be used as in-game currency for in-game purchases and can be earned through ILV staking.

ILV has three main functions:

• Governance: to vote for protocol proposals and improvements.
• Liquidity Mining: Staking ILV returns yield in the form of ILV (or sILV).
• Vault distribution: 100% of revenue from the game and sales will be shared between ILV stakers.

My Neighbor Alice

My Neighbor Alice is a multiplayer building game, where anyone can buy and own virtual islands, collect and build exciting items and meet new friends.

Inspired by successful games like Animal Crossing, the game combines a fun narrative for regular players who simply want to enjoy the gaming experience, and an ecosystem for players who also want to collect and trade NFTs. 

The game therefore also includes elements of gamified finance and blockchain for those who want to go beyond gaming and monetize their experience.

Alice’s World is a large island complex located in the Lummelunda archipelago. It is a place where animals and humans share space, make friends and work together. Anyone can join the neighborhood by buying a piece of land. The player can do various activities such as fishing, catching insects and beekeeping, among others. Alice shares the archipelago with her friends – Björn the Bear, Beekeeper Bob, Ivan the Merchant and Shipwright José. 

Players interact with neighbors and help Alice with her daily tasks and activities. By doing so, they earn a reward that can be exchanged for game items they can use in their lands.

My Neighbor Alice includes a variety of game features designed to enrich and enhance users’ gaming experience.

After a piece of land has been purchased from Alice or in the market, players can change the shape of the land and decorate it with various game items such as houses, lakes, decorations, animals, plants and other things that can be purchased in addition.

In the game, each player is represented by an avatar, and players can interact with others through the avatar. Players can also modify the avatar by installing different resources on it.

My Neighbor Alice allows users various possibilities to work on a shared goal and combine resources to complete fun activities. For example, the game allows community-created events in which players participate in activities and competitions.

My Neighbor Alice Tokenomics

ALICE is the native utility token of My Neighbor Alice videogame and it is used in the following functions:

• In-game Currency: Purchase assets and special skill sets in Alice’s marketplace.
• Player Incentives: By completing quests in the game, players can earn ALICE tokens. This design is to encourage user participation in the game and to maintain traction.
• Staking: Stake ALICE tokens to receive a percentage of platform revenues distribution

UFO Gaming

UFO Gaming is a fully decentralized gaming platform that integrates games and blockchain and gives players the ability to earn while playing, it is therefore a Play to Earn (P2E) game. The game thus integrates Blockchain, P2E, Metaverse, virtual worlds and NFT.

The system is based on an ecosystem called “The Dark Metaverse“. This will gradually incorporate new planets each corresponding to a new game with its own economy.

In the Metaverse you can own virtual land. Each planet has a certain percentage of available land that you can buy.

Each soldier is equipped with a uniquely generated power force known as the Spirit Force.

UFO Gaming Tokenomics

UFO is the primary utility token in the Ufo Gaming metaverse. However, UFO Gaming’s tokenomics is based on a three-token system:

• UFO – Governance token also used for NFTs breeding
• UAP – Reward token that players can earn by completing daily quests and missions.
• Plasma Points – Required to mint UFOeps, can be only earned through farming UFO

UFO Gaming sets itself apart from its competitors with its rewards system. To calculate and distribute the rewards for the players it adopts a time-based rating system. Instead of embracing a model that’s the same for every person, players can increase their NFTs’ rating. With a higher rating they can complete more missions and encounter more bosses to fight. This paves the way for more opportunities for earning UAP rewards based on their engagement.

Conclusion

As time goes by, games become more and more sophisticated in terms of narrative and graphics, but also in terms of the opportunities they offer. Not only entertainment and fun, but more and more we see the integration of economic parts that make the game also an area in which to make investments and get tangible returns.
